Michael Lamb

Michael Lamb, CPA, CGFM, is a Shareholder at Wessel & Company. Michael supports the firm’s clients through his work with audits and management advisory services and assists the firm in overseeing the firm’s system of quality control. He specializes in working with state and local governments and non-profit organizations.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Wessel & Company in 2006, Mike spent 3 years working with a regional CPA firm that worked exclusively with state and local government organizations.

Education and Associations

Mr. Lamb graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. His associations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants and the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials.

Mike is actively involved with a number of community organizations in the Bedford area, including: Bedford Sunrise Rotary Club – treasurer, past president and Paul Harris Fellow, Bedford Chamber of Commerce – Government Affairs Committee, Your Safe Haven, Inc – Treasurer and Bedford Area Youth Ball League. – Board of Directors.

Personal Background

Michael is originally from the Harrisburg area and resides in Bedford, PA with his a wife and son. He is active in coaching youth sports teams in which his son participates for baseball and basketball. Outside of the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, traveling and finding live music events.
